Orda Africa is a Nigerian technology and internet company that provides a comprehensive restaurant management platform designed to streamline operations for food businesses across Africa. By offering tools for point-of-sale, inventory management, and digital ordering, the company empowers restaurant owners to optimize their workflows, increase efficiency, and gain better insights into their business performance.
How it started
Orda Africa was founded by a former colleague from IROKO, and I supported the business from the early stages.
I led the initial brand identity and visual direction for Star Kitchens (later rebranded as Orda Africa) and effectively acted as Product Design Lead from the outset. This included designing the MVP and helping evolve it into a broader suite of restaurant management tools. I also worked closely with the CEO on pitch decks for partnerships and fundraising. The product has grown into a platform used by thousands of businesses, and the deck work supported strategic partnerships and capital raising activity.
