Chinakwe Sales Brochure

Chinakwe is a contemporary Afro-lux art and lifestyle brand founded by UK-based artist Caroline Chi Chi Chinakwe. I was commissioned to create a sales brochure for use at exhibitions and events, alongside a limited run of premium art prints to be given as gifts to attendees at an exhibition in Dubai. The project needed to present the brand and artwork in a way that felt elevated and distinctive, while also supporting commercial opportunities.

Goals

The goal was to produce a refined set of printed materials that could showcase Caroline’s work professionally in exhibition settings and help support sales conversations with potential buyers and partners. The brochure needed to communicate the brand clearly and elegantly, while the art prints needed to feel premium enough to act as meaningful gifts that reflected the quality and character of the artwork. A key objective throughout was to balance artistic presentation with commercial effectiveness, ensuring the final materials felt true to the brand while also serving a clear business purpose.

Approach

My approach centred on translating the richness and vibrancy of Caroline’s artwork into print as faithfully as possible, while keeping production practical for a limited run. This involved researching print suppliers that could deliver a high-quality result at a reasonable cost, with particular attention given to colour reproduction, finish and overall presentation. Working closely with Caroline, I reviewed options for paper stock, print methods and coatings to identify the combination that best suited both the artwork and the wider Chinakwe brand. This collaborative process helped ensure the final pieces felt considered and cohesive, with every production choice supporting both the visual impact of the work and its commercial use in an exhibition context.

Deliverables

I delivered a printed sales brochure for use at exhibitions and events, along with a limited run of high-quality art prints featuring selected works for an exhibition in Dubai. This included supplier research, print specification guidance and coordination around production choices to ensure the final output met both creative and practical requirements.

Outcomes

The final printed materials gave Chinakwe a polished and high-quality set of assets for exhibition use, helping the brand present its work with greater clarity and impact. The brochure and art prints contributed to commercial commissions and sales, demonstrating the value of combining strong visual presentation with carefully considered production decisions.
