Privacy Policy

Last updated: 01 March 2026

This website is operated by Mateo Cuellar Giampetruzzi, trading as “Matteo Cuellar Vega Design“. I am committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data transparently and in accordance with UK data protection law.

Who I am

If you have any questions about this policy or how your personal data is handled, you can contact me using the details below:

Name: Mateo Cuellar Giampetruzzi
Email: [email protected]
Address: 1 Park Lane, Godmanchester PE29 2AG, United Kingdom

What personal data I collect

I only collect personal data that you choose to provide when you contact me through the website contact form. This may include:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your phone number, if provided
  • the content of your message

I do not use website analytics.

In addition, some technical information may be processed automatically when you visit the website, such as your IP address and basic request information, where necessary for security, performance, and delivery of the site through third-party infrastructure providers.

How I use your personal data

I use personal data submitted through the website to:

  • respond to enquiries
  • communicate with you about services you have requested or asked about
  • maintain business correspondence records
  • operate, secure, and maintain the website and email delivery systems

Lawful basis for processing

My lawful basis for processing personal data submitted through the contact form is legitimate interests, namely operating my business, responding to enquiries, and maintaining communications. Where your enquiry relates to potential services or a contract, processing may also be necessary in order to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. The ICO says you must identify your lawful basis before processing begins.

Third-party service providers

I use third-party providers to help operate this website and related communications. These may process personal data only where necessary to provide their services.

These include:

  • Cloudflare, which is used as a proxy, security, and performance service for the website
  • Amazon Simple Email Service (SES), which is used to send contact form emails
  • DigitalOcean, which is used to host the website
  • WordPress and any essential plugins used to run the site and contact form

I do not sell or rent your personal data.

International transfers

Some of my service providers may process or store personal data outside the UK. Where this happens, I take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long I keep your data

I keep contact form enquiries only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, manage any follow-up, and keep normal business records.

If your enquiry does not lead to an ongoing business relationship, I will usually retain it for no longer than 12 months. If it does lead to work, I may keep relevant correspondence for longer where necessary for contractual, legal, tax, or record-keeping purposes. The ICO says you should explain either your retention period or the criteria you use to decide it.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics cookies.

However, the website may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary for security, network management, or site functionality, including services provided through WordPress or Cloudflare. The ICO says users must be told about cookies, and that non-essential cookies generally require consent, while strictly necessary cookies may be used without consent.

If non-essential cookies or tracking technologies are added in future, this policy will be updated and, where required, an appropriate consent mechanism will be introduced.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to the personal data I hold about you
  • request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • request erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances
  • request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
  • object to processing in certain circumstances
  • request transfer of your personal data in certain circumstances

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe your personal data has been handled unlawfully or unfairly.
