My approach focused on balancing operational requirements, patient experience and spatial efficiency. I reworked the property layout to support the different service needs within the building, dividing the basement into individual treatment rooms and restructuring the ground floor to create space for reception, additional treatment rooms and offices.
A key part of the planning was ensuring that MHF’s private GP service had its own distinct presence within the building. This included allocating a separate, more discreet entrance and private lift access so that the private GP area could operate independently while remaining integrated within the wider health centre.
Alongside the interior planning, I developed the visual elements required for the space, including digital signage, wayfinding and branding, so the environment felt clear, cohesive and aligned with the service offer.
